During my internship at LWZ, I designed two posters for the »Gürtel Connection«. While the bar logos and their shapes were fixed, everything else was fair game. Rather than letting them simply sit on the page, I put the logos to work – first appearing on illustrated bottles, and later on playing cards. Both posters were subsequently animated by Stefan Salcher (LWZ), adding an extra round of movement to the visuals.

The Gürtel Connection is an event where 13 bars and clubs along Vienna’s famous »Gürtel« join forces for one night – donating their profits to charity while keeping the Gürtel spirit very much alive.
