Utepils is that unmistakable feeling of freedom and lightness that only a bright afternoon can bring. The word exists only in Norwegian. It describes the simple, beautiful act of sitting outside on a sunny day and enjoying a beer. Yet for us, Utepils is far more than a definition. It belongs to that rare family of untranslatable words – those poetic expressions that capture an entire mood, a moment, a way of being, in a single breath.

Utepils is a typeface created in collaboration with Hannah Schedl. The goal was to design something that lives in the tension between delicate, dreamy forms and classic, exacting elements. Clear, composed, and rigorous – yet never rigid. Disciplined, yet unapologetically extravagant.
